With the arrival of the era of perception for everything, Internet for everything and intelligence for everything, global computing is facing a huge gap and its scale will grow rapidly as never before. At the same time, with the emergence of more and more intelligent scenarios, intelligent applications of AI scenarios with data as the center are becoming more and more popular. Computing is also changing according to demands and transforming from computing to intelligent computing.
The difference between intelligent computing and general computing lies in that general computing focuses on traditional computing processing tasks or the calculation of offline big data while intelligent computing can meet the new demands for AI, machine learning and deep learning in many fields, such as scientific research, autonomous driving, biopharmaceutical, intelligent manufacturing, digital twinning, space governance and a series of scenarios.
The computing industry in the world is entering a golden age now. According to IDC, the global computing industry investment space is expected to reach 1.14 trillion dollars by 2023. In the future, the Intelligent Computing Center will be built based on the three principles of open standards, intensive efficiency and universal benefits and will show three main trends: a more open and diversified framework and standard system; the infrastructure and integration of computing and algorithms which can make services more efficient; the establishment of an intelligent computing ecology which can make the intelligent computing center more useful.
