GAS Fee Consumption
UtilityNet will be testing the incentive model based on BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain) when it opens its first internal test. Participants can transact through the decentralized network and then update the network state by writing and processing messages in their blocks, which includes data and messages. Running transfers of data and messages consumes computational and storage resources on the network. The required GAS fees are BNB.
The consumed data has a direct effect on the cost of publishers submitting messages to blockchain. Therefore, UNC can be regarded as the fuel needed for mining by UtilityNet blockchain, just like the fuel for automobiles. Just as the situation when a road trip is coming, the driver needs to determine the mileage and pay for the gasoline used to power the engine during the journey.
